Aviation- Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

What will you be doing?
You’ll be delivering airport minor projects, effectively managing multiple programmes. Focused on best use of resource, plant and materials, to deliver great value, quality, safely while maintaining compliance with internal and client needs. Where you will have a hand-on approach from tender and pre-construction to project completion and handover. You will have the ability to grasp the businesses vision and support a strategy that translates into a strong and innovative delivery of high-quality Electrical project works in a highly governed and challenging transport industry.
Being client focused, showing excellent understanding of the scope of works. Using a proven business and commercial acumen and working to The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, you will deliver construction project works within NEC3, JCT and bespoke contract conditions. To act as point of contact for Clients, stakeholders and third parties and lead the project team with the timely production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements, H&S Site Management, Work Package Plans and support the collation of required information for Construction Phase Plans. You’ll also manage commercial performance of the Framework team, effectively managing cost and delivering value. You will also manage the running of numerous projects from planning stage through to delivery and handover.

- NEC3 or 4
- Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or a related field.
- Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly (shift / away from base location)
- Exceptional contract awareness and understanding of standard forms of contract such as NEC 3 or 4, ICE, JCT.
- Good grasp of commercial responsibilities

- High standard of presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret scopes, technical information and drawings.
- Ability to manage work efficiently between multiple projects.
- Good communications skills and ability to work well with other teams and departments at all levels both internally and externally, including client liaison.

- Cost Control and budgeting
- Train, support, mentor and guide framework teams.
- Keep up to date with legislations and current industry standards.
- Working knowledge and understanding of CDM roles and SHEQ duties.
- Desire for self-development and continuous self-improvement.
