    Where will you be working?

    At M Group, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.   We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. 

    This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services and data collection in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters. Our meter engineers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored. We leverage our industry expertise and data insight capabilities to create solutions that fit the needs of our customers.

    What will you be doing?

    As a Capacity Management Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Capacity Management Team, ensuring smooth operations and high performance across multiple functions. Your role will include:

    • Driving performance across Capacity, Non-Standard Bookings, New Connections and Field Debt teams through clear KPIs
    • Managing internal and external stakeholders for any capacity-related escalations
    • Collaborating closely with field management to ensure operational alignment
    • Providing analysis and reporting to the Planning Manager, sharing insights and best practices
    • Reviewing daily quota levels across the EONNEXT contract to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
    • Leading your team with energy and clarity, supporting onboarding, training and continuous improvement initiatives

    This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance strategic oversight with operational delivery, making a real impact on service quality and customer experience.

    What you’ll bring:

    • Proven management experience in a contact centre environment
    • Strong client and customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively
    • Solid understanding of people management processes and procedures
    • Experience working with field-based operational teams
    • Capacity Management experience (desirable)
