Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery- Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You will be part of our Engineering Team who are responsible for investigation, design and completions of clean and waste water design.
Working closely with project teams to design Temporary Works solutions that will enable the delivery of the project. The Temporary Works Designer is responsible for production of drawings, calculations and specifications for diverse range of temporary works schemes, as well as the provision of buildability, construction methodology and value engineering advice for live projects and tenders, as required by the business.
Provide safe, practical and economic designs of temporary works in accordance with project procedures, the British and European codes of practice and UK construction Health and safety legislation
- Circa 3 years design experience
- Circa 1-year design experience in Temporary Works designs
- Hands on experience with BS 5975
- Experience in the design of formwork, falsework and access scaffolding
- Experience with codes of practice for concrete and steel work design (EN & BS codes)
- Detailed knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
