    Caledonia Water (CWA) is a joint venture alliance between Aecom and Morrison Water Services (MWS), supporting the delivery of Scottish water’s SR21 Capital Investment Programme.

    This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery- Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

    What will you be doing?

    You will be part of the SHEQ Team who are responsible for ensuring the delivery of legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement of Safety and performance 

    You’ll be supporting the Site Teams in identifying solutions and options to overcome issues, delivering Toolbox Talks, safety briefings and wellbeing campaigns.

    You will provide training and advice, encouraging the reporting of near misses through proactive engagement with Operatives and Supervisors. You will also review risk assessments and method statements, verifying temporary works are implemented safely.

    You’ll conduct investigations of incidents and accidents, identifying root cause analysis and recommendations to prevent re-occurrence. Reporting incidents in line with Client and MWS  minimum requirements and submit reports within agreed timescales. You’ll also ensure actions from investigations are acted upon and close-out the report in a timely manner.

    Have you gained knowledge and experience of the water industry?

    Have you working knowledge of current UK Health and Safety legislation and best practice?

    Do you hold a current driving licence?
