You’ll be joining our Street Lighting Team! As a major supplier of specialist highway electrical services, our streetlighting teams maintain and design over 350,000 street lighting assets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Do you enjoy leading on design projects? You’ll lead and manage the Design Team and the workload to deliver designs within deadlines and budget.
- You'll also ensure effective management of sub-contractors and suppliers, alongside the commercial teams!
- Have you helped with work winning in a previous role? You’ll get involved in the preparation of tender submissions and forecasts.
- Are you good at building relationships with key stakeholders? You’ll work with clients regularly and frequently, attending internal and external meetings when required.
- You’ll understand and ensure that financial targets are met in terms of cash flow and profitability.
- Do you enjoy sharing knowledge? You’ll mentor and develop the team with confidence to ensure work is carried out to the best standard and the team are reaching heir full potential!
- You’ll play a prominent role within the Street Lighting Senior Leadership Team
What you’ll bring:
- Do you have a trade qualification, Degree, HND/HNC? This or equivalent experience is needed.
- Do you hold the Institution of Lighting Professionals Exterior Lighting Diploma Level 4? You’ll need this and be a full member of ILP
- You’ll be an experienced programme Manager with full understanding of application on CDM
- You’ll be able to develop plans, initiate and evaluate change to bring about service improvements through working/consulting with stakeholders including staff, members and partner agencies.
- Do you have experience working in a Design Management role in Street Lighting? You’ll need to be competent in Electrical design
- Are you registered with the engineering council to min of Ieng? There is a requirement for this
