This is an exciting opportunity to join our Environment Team at M Group, within the Highways sector, with opportunities to develop yourself and progress within a growing, dynamic and innovative organisation. As a Environmental Advisor you will be responsible for supporting the team in the design and environmental management of construction projects and the delivery of the ambitious carbon and sustainability targets of our clients.

What will you be doing?
You’ll provide technical advice and support to stakeholders, guiding them from design to construction in managing their environmental responsibilities.
Collaborate with engineers and environmental specialists to shape designs that comply with regulations and align with sustainability goals.
Be part of a team driving carbon reduction by measuring, managing, and minimising emissions across operations.
Take the lead in engaging stakeholders, from operations teams to clients, inspiring them with your expertise and ideas.
Prepare clear and concise environmental reports for internal and external audiences to ensure transparency.
Advance initiatives like carbon reduction and biodiversity enhancement while supporting clients’ sustainability aspirations.
Monitor key documentation, management plans, permits, and licenses, ensuring compliance with legislation and project requirements.

What you’ll bring
- Valid UK driving license – do you have one?
- Degree level in appropriate environmental discipline or relevant qualifications
