    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

    What will you be doing?  
     
    We'll need you to provide operational leadership across a portfolio of clean water projects, with full accountability for programme delivery, safety, compliance, and performance.
     
    You'll lead, support and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment to M Group Water values, behaviours, and operational standards.
     
    You'll serve as the day-to-day client interface, driving collaboration and building long-term trust with United Utilities and own and deliver against monthly commercial and operational targets, including CVR performance and KPI achievement.
     
    You'll champion a culture of safety, quality and environmental responsibility – ensuring our sites and people operate to the highest standards.
     
    We'll need you to oversee resource planning and deployment across live and upcoming works, ensuring capacity is aligned to programme requirements.
     
    You'll identify opportunities to innovate and improve – driving better outcomes for our teams, our client, and the communities we serve.
     
    You'll act as the regional face of M Group Water – upholding our reputation, engaging with stakeholders, and influencing positive change driving inclusion, team development and engagement, ensuring every colleague is valued and supported. 

    What you’ll bring 

    • Have you gained a Institute of Leadership & Management Level 5 (or equivalent experience)?
    • Do you have SMSTS or equivalent safety qualification?
    • Are you a NRSWA Supervisor? This is desirable
