Where will you be working?
MEICA and capital maintenance- Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be undertaking verification on flow meters on behalf of South West Water, reports will be generated to establish the health of the meters and any potential remedial works.
- You’ll have some sort of electrical background
- The works vary from confined space to heights, You'll have to be prepared to undertake works on either on a daily basis
- You'll be installing ultrasonic units on pipework to do comparison checks and reports
- Fair amount of travelling across the South West region, a van and tools will be supplied as part of this role
What you’ll bring
- You’ll have strong collaboration skills
- You’ll bring a proactive attitude and a willingness to engage in hands-on work
- You’ll have a valid UK driving licence
- You’ll have a willingness to work away from home for a week or two each year
- Strong IT skills in order to undertake the reporting side of this work
