    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team.  We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

    What will you be doing? 
     
    You'll collaborate with the Compliance Service Department, Fleet/M Group Department, and operational teams to ensure compliance and safety.  
     
    You'll coordinate with department managers for accurate vehicle and plant allocation across contracts and manage the allocation and movement of plant and fleet equipment to/from operational teams.  
     
    We'll need you to ensure vehicles are presented for scheduled MOT/service, taxed, and payments are processed as well as conducting periodic vehicle and plant inspections, including weekly PUWER checks, weight, and gate checks.  
     
    You'll control and inspect vehicles upon issue and return, ensuring compliance with site plans.

    Other duties include:  

    • You'll monitor transport compliance in line with Operator Licence requirements.  
    • You'll maintain accurate records for driver/vehicle files, training, licences, and telematics data.  
    • You'll track and document driver violations (e.g., driving/parking) in a timely manner.  
    • You'll administer complaints and commendations, forwarding to supervisors and maintaining a register.  
    • We'll need you to ensure vehicle defects are reported to supervisors and line managers using in-house processes. 

    What you’ll bring  

    • Do you have strong verbal, written, communication & IT skills? 
    • Do you have excellent organizational and planning abilities? 
    • Are you someone who has great attention to detail for accurate data management?
    • Do you have a background in fleet management? - This is required due to the nature of the role. 
    • Do you hold a valid UK driving license?
