    Where will you be working? 

    At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.  

    We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.  

    Mobile networks- We keep the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.

    What will you be doing?

    We’re looking for a Principal Designer to lead design work on projects covered by the Building Safety Act 2022 and CDM Regulations. You’ll drive design decisions that remove or reduce safety risks, keep the Golden Thread of information up to date, and deliver clear pre-construction plans and handover packs that support safety cases and compliance. You’ll work closely with our client and programme directors, delivery leads, designers and other stakeholders to hit SLAs and KPIs. Chartered status and hands-on experience with building safety regimes are required.

    What you’ll do:

    Chartered (Architect, CEng, MRICS/Chartered Building Surveyor or equivalent) with membership of the relevant professional body. Practical, hands‑on Principal Designer experience under CDM 2015 across several medium/large projects. Solid, applied knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 — Golden Thread, safety cases and gateway stages. Strong technical know‑how in fire safety design, structural integrity, means of escape, compartmentation and building‑services interfaces. Experience working on high‑risk buildings and multi‑storey residential schemes, with stakeholder skills and clear communication.
