What will you be doing?
The IT function operates within M Group to deliver IT changes which are innovative, robust, cost effective, and aligned with corporate growth strategy.
As a Business Process & Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, implementing and maintaining industry leading business solutions. With a focus on effective use of technology, processes, and systems, the successful candidate will understand the needs of our business and develop appropriate solutions to continually improve operational and commercial performance as well as enhancing quality and safety across the workforce. Experience with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions would be beneficial.
Working closely with stakeholders, you will ensure high quality standards are embedded with appropriate and fit for purpose solutions delivering a cost-effective business benefit.
What you’ll bring
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to, and work closely with colleagues, clients and suppliers at all different levels of the business hierarchy
- Highly numerate and literate, with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to support and manage multiple initiatives and tasks concurrently in agile, waterfall or blended project delivery.
- Able to produce professional looking documentation which is concise and explicit in content
- Experience across a wide range of IT related disciplines
- Good awareness of current technologies and IT methodologies
- Able to work in a competitive, customer-focused, commercial environment
- Able to manage key business and IT stakeholders, providing support and direction where needed
- Confident in giving presentations and facilitating workshops to colleagues, clients and suppliers
- A self-motivated and highly professional team player with a flexible, yet structured approach; also able to work on own initiative
- A self-starter of graduate calibre with a logical approach to problem-solving
- Good skills in MS Office applications, including MS Project and MS Visio
- Good understanding of data and infrastructure requirements to support business critical and customer related information
- Ability to communicate complex existing or proposed solutions to non-technical business analysts and internal and external stakeholders to secure project budget and buy-in
- Experience in process improvement work and related techniques beneficial
- Experience in complex process modelling, storyboarding and solution design proposals using standard tools and notation.
