You’ll be joining our in-house Design & Build team, supporting the safe delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure across Scotland.
Our CAD and Digital Design professionals play a vital role in ensuring designs are construction-ready, compliant and safe to build. Your work will be used directly by site teams, supporting CDM requirements, health & safety and long-term asset records.
Role Summary
This is a critical CAD / Digital Design role within M Group Water’s in-house Design & Build function.
You’ll support and contribute to the production of accurate, construction-ready drawings and digital outputs that directly support safe buildability, CDM compliance and effective delivery. Working alongside engineers and construction teams, your work will directly influence how projects are built, operated and maintained.
Roles are available from Assistant through to Principal level, with responsibilities aligned to experience.
What will you be doing?
- Producing construction-ready drawings and digital design outputs
- Supporting CDM, health & safety and environmental requirements
- Ensuring drawings are accurate, clear and free from errors or omissions
- Working closely with engineers and construction teams to support delivery
- Producing as-built records and asset information for long-term use
- Maintaining document control and digital compliance standards
What you’ll bring
- CAD / digital design experience within infrastructure or construction (level-dependent)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Understanding of how drawings and digital outputs are used on site
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary design teams
- Confidence managing your own work and meeting delivery deadlines
