    Where will you be working?

    At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. 

    We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. 

    This role will be within our Private Networks team, you’ll join our people who support finding the best technology, managing assets and refreshing systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

    We’re looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner who can bring insight, energy, and strong collaboration to help drive meaningful, strategic impact across the business.


    What will you be doing? 

    In this role, you’ll take ownership of maintaining and managing all Balance Sheet lines, ensuring accuracy and strong financial control across the business. You’ll also play an important part in identifying and assessing financial and operational risks, helping the team put effective mitigation in place. Alongside this, you’ll support the Head of Finance and FP&A Lead as they develop the 5‑year Business Plan, and you’ll contribute to the annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles to help shape the organisation’s future direction.

    You’ll lead the month‑end close process across the finance team, preparing confidential journal entries and ensuring that segment reporting requirements are met. Accuracy will be key, as you review underlying business results, oversee ledger postings, and ensure all intercompany transactions are processed correctly. Providing clear and timely financial summaries to operational leads will also be an important part of how you support the wider business.

    The role also involves overseeing project accounting processes and supporting ongoing cash‑flow forecasting to help maintain a clear forward view. You’ll refresh absorption rates twice a year and review sales accruals and uninvoiced client purchase orders periodically to ensure everything is aligned and up to date.

    On the governance side, you’ll ensure Standard Operating Procedures are clearly documented, regularly reviewed, and kept current. You’ll play a key role during the annual audit, coordinating the finance team and making sure all Group cut‑off procedures are followed consistently.

    What you’ll bring 

    • A supportive team player with a positive, can‑do attitude
    • Experienced in leading and developing teams
    • Holds a professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
    • Highly organised with strong time‑management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
    • Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to Senior Management
    • Excellent analytical thinker
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to reflect, challenge, and improve
    • Brings high energy and drive to their work
    • Resilient and able to stay focused under pressure
    • Quick to act and responsive when tasks are assigned
    • Confident in presenting information to management
    • 5+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE)
    • Hands‑on experience with Oracle systems
    • Background in utility services or the construction industry
    • Comfortable working within Group, Shared Service, or matrix‑style environments
