    Where will you be working?

    Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

    What will you be doing?

    • Assisting with excavation works, including digging trenches and preparing ground for construction activities
    • Supporting the installation of ducts, cable routes and foundations for substations and associated infrastructure
    • Laying concrete, backfilling trenches and reinstating ground surfaces to required standards
    • Operating hand tools and small plant equipment under supervision
      Setting out work areas, marking levels and ensuring accurate measurements
    • Supporting civil construction tasks such as shuttering, formwork and basic brickwork
    • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment in line with safety procedures
    • Working alongside experienced groundworkers, civil teams and electrical colleagues to learn all aspects of substation construction
    • Following instructions, safety briefings and method statements to ensure safe working practices

    What you’ll bring;

    • Driving Licence: Full licence and own car required
    • GCSEs in Maths and English (grades A-F or 2-9)
    • Age: Must be 18+
    • Location: Must live within the application area
    • You must be able to obtain a full airside pass

    • Expenses: Travel, accommodation, and meals fully paid for
