Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

    Where will you be working?

As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

Want to come and be a part of it?

    What will you be doing?

As Reward Consultant, you will lead the design and delivery of a unified job framework across the Group and its four diverse divisions. This is a high impact, business critical role, focused on creating consistency, equity and clarity in how roles are structured, graded and rewarded.

    • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across the Group and divisions, providing project updates and facilitated calibration sessions.
    • Provide expert reward advice, challenge constructively and influence decision making at senior level.
    • Ensure the new framework supports a clear, defendable framework across the organisation

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping how reward is experienced across the Group, leaving a lasting legacy beyond the life of the contract.

    What you’ll bring

You will bring deep, hands on expertise in reward and job architecture, with a proven ability to deliver complex frameworks in large, multidivisional environments.

    You will have:

    • An extensive track record of designing and implementing complex job frameworks and grading structures end-to-end
    • Strong experience working with recognised job evaluation methodologies, with Mercer methodology experience highly advantageous
    • A solid understanding of pay equity, equal pay principles and broader reward related regulatory and legislative requirements
    • The ability to navigate organisational complexity, balancing Group‑wide consistency with divisional needs
    • Credibility and confidence to operate at senior stakeholder level, influencing and challenging constructively
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data, methodology and regulation into practical, workable solutions
    • A delivery focused mindset, able to drive progress, manage ambiguity and land outcomes within a fixed-term time frame
