    Where will you be working?

    Rail- Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.

    What will you be doing?

    • Ensure accurate, high‑quality timesheet submissions and provide regular feedback to Operations on any required improvements.
    • Manage allocation spreadsheets for van, fuel, and plant hire costs.
    • Oversee the central cost head, working with Commercial and Operations to allocate costs to the correct projects promptly and consistently.
    • Support the Commercial team with any required cost transfers.
    • Maintain strong financial controls over all costs.
    • Support month‑end cost reporting activities.
    • Manage external framework audits and ensure full compliance with company policies.
    • Assist with WIP and cash management.

    What you’ll bring

    • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong Excel skills.
    • High level of attention to detail.
    • Experience supporting the month‑end CVR process.
    • Experience in a contracting, construction, or project‑based environment (desirable).
