What will you be doing?
Morrison Water Services is seeking an experienced P6 Planner to support wastewater projects across Yorkshire Water and United Utilities contracts. The role involves developing and managing detailed project programmes, including preconstruction schedules, milestone planning, and alignment with tender and contract requirements. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6, analysing progress using CL31 and CL32 metrics, and identifying variances and their causes. The position requires close collaboration with engineers and management to monitor project performance, alongside producing progress reports and earned value analysis, and recommending actions to maintain or improve delivery against targets.
What you’ll bring
- P6 essential
- Networks, Civils and MEICA experience within the water industry is essential
- Strong understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle management, including initiation, planning, delivery, governance and closure
- The ability to communicate effectively and work with staff at all levels
- Capability and desire to identify opportunities for improvement
- Full driving licence as there will be an element of site based travel involved within the role
