As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

What will you be doing?
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims end to end, including case strategy, drafting, witness evidence, bundles and hearing preparation
- Advising on ACAS early conciliation, judicial mediation, settlement strategy and other routes to early resolution
- Supporting high-risk and complex employee relations matters before they escalate to litigation
- Working closely with ER, People teams, operational leaders and legal colleagues on legal risk, case handling and decision-making
- Preparing clear, commercially grounded advice that balances legal merits, cost, operational impact and reputational risk
- Identifying recurring themes and legal risks across the caseload to support stronger governance and earlier intervention
- Contributing to legal updates, practical guidance and capability building across the ER function
What you’ll bring
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales with current practising rights
- Strong employment litigation experience, ideally gained in-house and/or in private practice
- Proven experience managing Employment Tribunal claims and advising on high-risk pre-claim matters
- Strong drafting skills across pleadings, witness statements, hearing preparation and settlement documentation
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and tribunal practice
- Commercial judgement and confidence advising senior stakeholders in sensitive, high-risk situations
- A calm, pragmatic and credible style, with the ability to turn complex legal issues into clear business advice
