    Where will you be working?

    M Group Rail and Aviation

    You'll be working across Rail, Aviation, Defence & Adjacent Markets. You'll visit major international airports, see our wide range of specialist rail engineering projects across the UK and be involved in the maintenance and upgrades of defence properties, airfields, military bases, ports, railway infrastructure and depots.

    What will you be doing?

    We work on Aviation, Rail and general civils projects across the UK. You should expect to work across our various divisions.

    The role will require attending site or offices 4 days a week with 1 days a week minimum spent out at head office at Heathrow. The current opportunity is to work from home one day per week.

    You’ll be involved in the following:

      • Provide detailed progress reports and programme narratives to stakeholders.
      • Monitor and update project programmes throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with progress and change management.
      • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to coordinate accurate programme updates
      • Administer programme management in accordance with the contracts. most of our contracts are NEC4
      • Facilitate planning workshops to define and capture project methodologies while considering contractual and operational constraints.
      • Develop comprehensive tender and delivery programmes using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
      • Collaborate with estimators and tender sponsors to understand project deliverables and contribute to the overall bid strategy.
      • Support the planning team with day-to-day programme management tasks, as needed.
      • Ensure compliance with the Company Management System and stay updated on industry trends and legislation.
      • Working with a supporting and dedicated team of planners
      • You will get the experience to work on multiple really interesting projects across various sectors.
      • Own project planning duties for the whole lifecycle of projects

     What you’ll bring 

      • Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
      • Experience 4+ years in Project Planning in the UK
      • Excellent time and workload management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead planning workshops and present programmes at tender adjudication meetings, client presentations, and internal management reviews.
      • NEC experience (desirable)
      • Rail or Aviation or Civils experience (desirable)
      • Tender planning experience (desirable)
      • Full UK driving license 
      • Right to work in the UK
