We’re now looking for a Wireless Delivery Manager to join Telent’s Wireless division, to support the successful delivery of wireless network build and upgrade projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with customer expectations.
This is a hybrid role based from Warwick, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will attend the Warwick office 2 days per week (every other week), with the remainder of the time working from home. Flexibility will be required to travel to Warwick and client sites when needed for major customer meetings.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of wireless network build and upgrade projects, ensuring activities are delivered in line with agreed schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate site construction, installation, commissioning, handover, and customer acceptance activities.
- Monitor project progress, project plans, risks, issues, actions, and dependencies, driving recovery actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with Telent and client QEHS policies, procedures, standards, legislation, permits, RAMS, and industry regulations.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to project teams, contractors, and suppliers, allocating and prioritising resources to achieve project objectives.
- Support change control, business change processes, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and governance escalation where required.
- Drive right-first-time delivery, minimise defects and rework, and support continuous improvement and best practice across wireless delivery activities.
Who you are:
You will be a highly organised and proactive delivery professional, comfortable working in a complex project environment with minimal supervision. You’ll be confident managing stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You’ll bring a strong focus on safety, quality, customer delivery, and project performance, with the flexibility to travel to Warwick and client sites when required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of supporting or managing delivery within a project management environment, ideally using project management tools and related technology.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Awareness of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations, with the ability to promote safe delivery across project activities.
- Practical use of Microsoft Office packages and awareness of document management systems.
- Awareness of financial and commercial practices, with IOSH, APM, PRINCE2, or continuous improvement experience desirable.
