    Where will you be working?

    At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

    We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

    This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

    What will you be doing?

    We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Telecommunications & Safety Trainer Assessor to join our innovative training team. In this field-and-centre-based role, you’ll have a real impact—supporting mobile teams, delivering hands-on competency assessments, and shaping the next generation of telecoms professionals through classroom and practical training.

    You’ll bring a solid background in telecoms, plus the energy and credibility to deliver top-tier safety programmes including IOSH, SSSTS, and SMSTS. Confident working across diverse environments, you’ll carry out technical training, workplace observations, and ongoing coaching—ensuring all activities meet the strictest compliance and industry standards.

    What you’ll bring;

    You’ll bring extensive experience in both mobile and fixed telecommunications, backed by AET and CAVA (or equivalent) qualifications and a passion for guiding others. Confident in delivering technical training, you’ll support workplace competency assessments and lead safety programmes like IOSH, SSSTS, and SMSTS. You’ll have strong communication skills and high standards ensure training meets compliance, client, and industry needs.

    You’ll maintain accurate records and proactively champion health, safety, and professionalism at every step. A full UK driving licence, willingness to travel, and experience in utilities or construction are all essential, as is holding NEBOSH, IOSH, or NRSWA Supervisor certifications.
