    This role will be within MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services. 

    M Group are recruiting an Operations Manager to join their senior management team, working closely with three other Business Unit Managers. This is an exciting and dynamic role, focused on overseeing the operational delivery within the water industry, offering a highly rewarding and fast-paced environment. This position includes the maintenance delivery for the prestigious London Tideway Tunnel.

    You'll be responsible for the day to day planning and management of the maintenance activities where you'll manage field operations to achieve service targets.
     
    We'll need you to take responsibility for ensuring that field operatives follow the Contractor’s safe system of work and follows safe working practices. 

    You'll support the Contractor's Contract Manager with preparing the maintenance reports, and the spares and consumables reports along with overseeing the management of the spares and consumables.

    You'll attend meetings with the Service Manager and others when requested to do so, and supports the Contractor's Contract Manager with preparing the RAMS.

    What you’ll bring 
    • Do you have experience within Maintenance contracts of a similar value and complexity to the Scope, in utilities, water or infrastructure sectors? (minimum 7 years’ experience)
    • Have you got proven experience in managing multi-discipline maintenance operatives? (minimum 5 years’  experience)
    • Do you hold a NEBOSH certificate?
    • Have you gained SSSTS?
    • Are you a holder of a CSCS?
    • Do you hold a valid driving licence?
