    Where will you be working?

    MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services. 

    What will you be doing?

    You’ll be leading a team of team of CompEx-certified electricians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

    You’ll be coordinating and overseeing project delivery works in the water industry, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects in hazardous environments.

    You’ll ensure compliance with CompEx, safety regulations, health and environmental standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

    You’ll liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, specifications, and customer expectations.

    You’ll conduct regular site inspections, particularly in hazardous areas, to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.

    You’ll develop and maintain project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor project budgets.

    You’ll provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, resolving technical challenges and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

    We’ll help you foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices, and optimising operational efficiency.     

    What you’ll bring

    • You’ll have CompEx certification
    • You’ll have proven experience in the water industry, with a focus on engineering works in hazardous areas
    • You’ll have previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, particularly in environments requiring CompEx certification
    • You’ll have strong knowledge of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards and their application in engineering projects, with a particular focus on hazardous environments
    • You’ll bring excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects within set timelines and budgets
    • You’ll be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, especially in relation to hazardous areas
    • You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
