      Where will you be working?

      At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

      We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

      Electricity Transmission- We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity. 

      As part of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of the transition to net zero, working with not just those around you, but across the Group- sharing learnings to deliver essential infrastructure services for life. 

       

      What will you be doing?

      Are you a skilled leader passionate about ensuring excellence and compliance in electrical operations? We’re looking for an Electrical Safety Manager to join our team and make a significant impact. You’ll ensure staff are assessed, competent, and authorised for their duties, maintain and develop external accreditations, and oversee policies across all workstreams.

      This pivotal role involves managing systems, supporting business opportunities, and representing us at national forums such as ENA, NERS, and NSAP. You’ll also innovate by implementing electronic field records to streamline operations.

      We are a national business and travelling throughout the UK with up to several nights away is an integral part of the role (Car benefit included)

      What you’ll bring

      • Full UK Driving Licence
      • Educated to HNC or equivalent but Degree level preferred.
      • Hold a Safety Qualification such as NEBOSH.
      • Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
      • Registered as Incorporated Engineer, minimum. (Chartered Engineer preferred).
      • Knowledge of Smart Metering and BS7671.
