    Where will you be working?

    M Group Rail and Aviation 

    Aviation- Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.  

    Defence and adjacent markets- We manage reactive and planned maintenance and upgrades on defence properties, airfields, military bases, ports, railway infrastructure and depots.

    What will you be doing?

    As an Assistant Land and Utility Surveyor, it is key to assist and learn from other surveyors undertaking utility and land surveys. You'll be able to work as part of a team and otherwise integrate and work with all other members of staff.
     
    With the survey team you will provide technical services to a range of construction related disciplines, including invaluable support to our divisional teams and departments within design and construction phases of projects.
     
    If you are a college leaver, graduate, wishing to transfer your existing skill set to the Geomatics Industry, or existing Assistant Surveyors looking to fast track their way into Surveying, we want to hear from you!
     

    What you’ll bring

    • Full UK driving license.
    • 5 year Traceable employment / studying records.
    • Ability and willingness to work flexibly (day/night shift / away from base location).
    • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word etc).
    • Ability to work as part of a team and desire to learn new skills or develop existing ones.
    • Basic site experience / CSCS accreditation.
    • Ability to interpret technical information and drawings.
    • Level 3 QCF Certificate in Utility Mapping and Surveying.
