Where will you be working?
Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.

What will you be doing?
In this role, you'll assist the team with the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals.
You'll coordinate the technical aspects of projects from tender to completion, collaborating with Senior Managers and various teams to ensure everything is done safely.
Review project plans for Safety and feasibility.
Understanding and reviewing technical needs at the tender stage is crucial, advising on any unusual aspects and updating the risk register.
You'll ensure commercial success by selecting the safest solutions.
Implementing design management and engineering procedures with thorough checks and inspections will be part of your routine.
Do you enjoy completing regular reviews and keeping projects on track? This will form part of the role.
We'll ask you to lead and mentor staff for career progression.

What you’ll bring
- Degree-qualified and chartered MICE
- Approved Network Rail CEM
- Experienced Temporary Works Coordinator
- SMSTS certified
- Proven experience in civil engineering management and design/build schemes
- Skilled in managing, inspecting, and implementing temporary works
- Trained Principal Designer Representative
- Strong understanding of civil engineering technical aspects
- Committed to high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection
- Risk assessment skills
- Knowledge of CDM roles and Health & Safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- Dedicated to self-development and continuous improvement
