Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our Plant and Fleet department, Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs. Offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.

What will you be doing?
You’ll ensure lease accounting information is reported accurately and comprehensively, providing reliable data every time.
Also, develop and implement strong controls and policies to oversee lease accounting across the group, ensuring full compliance with FRS 102 standards.
You’ll take full ownership of the accounting policy, focusing on continuous improvement and best practices.
You’ll be the go-to person for all lease-related queries, offering clear guidance.
You’ll also, prepare detailed company and group journals for lease accounting entries, ensuring precision and consistency.
You’ll reconcile lease data at both company and group levels, maintaining accuracy across the board.
Providing lease disclosure notes for year-end audits and handle any related queries with confidence.
Also, you’ll manage the leases accounting software, ensuring live data remains accurate and relevant.
What you’ll bring
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Working knowledge of IFRS16 for a company with a large volume of assets
- Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot tables
- Ability to manage, analyse and interpret large amounts of data and prepare reporting for review and understanding by management
- Experience of large volume reconciliations including resolution of variances
