Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Project Engineer you'll be working on our Anglian Water IOS Alliance Contract in Colchester.
You'll be enabling projects to be delivered to time, cost, specification, client needs and the needs and regulations of other stakeholders.
Support the Delivery/Operational Manager in the delivery of MEICA Projects work in times of high workload or resources shortages.
You'll support the capture of asset changes (decommissioning, alteration, creation) in the relevant corporate systems.
Raise Early Warning Notices and Change Requests when required if projects incur delays in time or increases in cost to Programme Manager.
Calculate Risk Index to ensure the data and processes in place are robust and auditable.
You'll develop solutions ensuring the optimum TOTEX solution is developed in line with corporate governance processes.
You'll also challenge data, confirm the need and analyse risks to establish clear cost and risk benefit proposition.
In addition, you will complete and comply with all operational Health & Safety requirements to ensure safe working practices.
Ensure personal H&S & MTRA are completed and valid.
You'll also ensure near misses are recorded through good catch.
What you’ll bring
Are you knowledgeable in planning and resource scheduling?
Do you hold an appropriate professional engineering qualification?
Can you demonstrate excellent customer management and external stakeholder management skills?
Are you a strong negotiator?
Can you demonstrate basic understanding of the regulatory processes that govern Anglian Water’s IOS Initiative?
Do you have previous Project Management experience?
Do you hold strong cost and risk based analysis skills?
Have you worked in an operational water setting previously?
