Where will you be working?
MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
What will you be doing?
- Delivering electrical installations and maintenance tasks.
- Work in compliance with industry, British, International, and customer standards.
- Read, understand, and interpret relevant drawings, schedules, and schematics.
- Order and collect the correct components for work activities.
- Advise management and clients on potential hazards.
- Test and inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Diagnose and solve malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.
- Produce detailed reports of work completed.
- Respond promptly to faults and rectify where possible.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
- Electrical testing, maintenance, and installation experience.
- Time served electrical apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 (Electrical discipline) trained or international equivalent.
- Strong IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to plan and coordinate effectively without supervision.
- Knowledge and experience of planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- High attention to detail and degree of accuracy.
- Commercial/Industrial LV Electrical (<1000 VAC/<1500VDC) experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills with both internal colleagues and external customers.
- Confident self-starter with sound judgement.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently as required.
- Full valid driving licence.
