We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure- We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?
You'll be working on our WSP Yorkshire Water Contract in the Yorkshire Region out of our Normanton Depot.
You'll be part of our Metering and Customer Related Department who are responsible for installation/repair and replacements on the Yorkshire Water Network.
You'll complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments and report any damages or defects.
We'll need you to demonstrate an excellent level of customer service and maintain a clean and safe work site, as well as vehicles and tooling.
You'll adhere to any relevant policies/procedures and escalate any issues to your line manager when needed.
What you’ll bring
- Do you have experience in the plumbing industry?
- Do you have a recognised NVQ level 2 plumbing qualification?
- Do you hold a current driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.
- Do you have excellent customer service and effective communication skills?
