Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing?
The Consents & Stakeholder Manager will be responsible for carrying out key communication and liaising with contract stakeholders ahead of scheduled maintenance works. Works will involve working with/ our clients and 3rd parties to obtain permit approvals and access to affected properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Key communications skills for stakeholder engagement
- Permit application and approvals
- Support operations team for maintenance planning and scheduling
- Manage programmes of stakeholder engagement on capital maintenance delivery including scope and budgets.
- Help manage Impact Assessments
- Work closely with wider Capital Maintenance team Operations managers and Planners to ensure alignment with consenting requirements
- Lead stakeholder engagement interface with clients and provide advice around consultation activities
- Report writing and production of materials to support engagement and consultation activities e.g. plans, consultation materials and summary reports
- Undertake engagement with project stakeholders across local authorities, water companies, statutory and non-statutory bodies.
- Contribute to business development activities including proposals, client presentations, and technical marketing initiatives
Key skills, qualifications and experience
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience within the Water Utilities sector is essential
- Understanding of safety procedures and processes for consents and approvals
- Technical background is advantageous but not essential
- Strong project management experience
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Management of COMAH
- Understanding of Confined Space and access requirements
