    Where will you be working?

    You’ll be joining our Civils projects - We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.

    What will you be doing?

    You'll be working alongside the Project Manager to develop work winning tenders and secure a pipeline of sustainable work in the area. Active involvement in developing the delivery strategy and project phasing. Existing good relationships with the local supply chain would be beneficial.
     
    Supervise and manage construction works through line management of General Foremen for the Project team.
     
    It is critical for the role to ensure the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards are employed across all projects, adhering to Milestone Infrastructure’s health and safety policy/ environmental policy and actively supporting the It Starts With Me culture that is an integral part of the M Group Highway’s working environment.
     
    We'll ask you to ensure the relevant Codes of Conduct are respected and followed within the site team. Lead by example to drive the correct behaviours.

    What you’ll bring

    • A good level of experience in civil engineering/highway construction and workforce supervision including earthworks, drainage, structures and highways.
    • Good team worker and communicator.
    • Computer literate, with a good understanding of Microsoft word / excel and outlook
    • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate with the Client and operational team
