At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our meter engineers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.

What will you be doing?
As a Commercial Manager, you’ll shape the future of our business relationships, ensuring financial viability and operational excellence. From bid modelling and contract negotiation to governance and renewal strategies, you’ll play a key role in driving growth and maintaining commercial success. We need someone with sharp analytical skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to craft well-structured contracts that protect our interests. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to collaborate in our Newcastle office 2-3 days a week. Ready to make an impact?
What you’ll bring
- 3 years+ experience within Commercial Management role (or similar, such as Procurement Management)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent numerical and excel skills and experience
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to articulate a robust and detailed contract inclusive of both commercial and operational detail.
