We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.

What will you be doing?
You will be field based, primarily responsible for coaching and supporting a section of the field based workforce .You’ll spend your time working with the Field Managers to prioritise continuous improvements through coaching and development plans that provide appropriate support and that close any skills, knowledge and behavioural gaps and will also be required to support the design, implementation, and operational delivery of business changes. You’ll investigate, detect, and prevent gas and electricity theft in residential and commercial properties. You’ll be responsible for making sure installations are made safe and will work with the supplier to agree what further action is to be taken. You'll collect evidence and provide information to the client to decide next steps.
You’ll need to be able to work autonomously also in doing this ensure full co-ordination with other regional teams, and alignment with the strategy of the business.
You will be responsible for managing complex, high risk/high profile and escalated revenue protection cases and will also maintain a presence on daily RP duties with the following responsibilities;
- Help create a leading health and safety culture for the Revenue Protection Unit and SEEKA
- Ensure safety first approach for themselves, their colleagues, and our customers
- Visit Customer premises to investigate suspected instances of abstraction of electric/theft of gas
- Establish facts and show resilience in circumstances where deception may exist
- Visit Customer premises to support debt recovery activities
- Deliver customer service skills – professional, upholding SEEKA’s brand image, showing empathy
- Negotiation outcomes, with ability to communicate the process to the customer
- Use networking skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with local engineers, the Police and Court staff, local authorities, and meter readers
- Represent SEEKA as a professional witness in Court
- Presenting facts clearly and with confidence
- Proactively manage relationships between SEEKA, other industry organisations and local authorities
- Day to day relationship with Revenue Protection Support Teams
Do you want career progression? Previous experience as a Revenue Protection Coach or in conflict management would be useful but not essential in this role all you’ll need is a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset. Are you joining on a single fuel basis? You’ll also be upskilled by the company to become a qualified dual fuel engineer! You’ll get full training on revenue protection and conflict management.
What you’ll bring
- Valid UK driving licence - You must have a full UK licence and have less that 6 points.
- Strong customer service background with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

Salary:
- Single fuel - £35,301 per annum for full time roles (plus London weighting where applicable*)
- Single fuel (3 phase/CT) £36,352 per annum for full time roles (plus London weighting where applicable*)
- Dual Fuel - £40,974 plus £2k attendance and safety bonus per annum for full time roles (plus London weighting where applicable*)
- Dual Fuel (3 phase/CT) - £42,025 plus £2k attendance and safety bonus per annum for full time roles (plus London weighting where applicable*)

. Candidates joining on a single fuel basis will be required to upskill to dual fuel, upskill training will be provided by the company. The salaries stated above apply during the initial training period, and upon full qualification at the dual fuel level, will increase to £40, 974 as outlined below.
*London Weighting where applicable is an additional £3,000 per annum on top of the above rates. London Weighting allowances will only apply to those whose home postcode falls within the M25.
