    Where will you be working?  

    At BGEN we help our clients in building new assets and to optimise existing assets, which play a crucial role in reducing carbon footprints to meet net-zero targets. We are skilled at navigating complex regulated environments and are the powerhouse technical engineering and digital solutions offering in the UK market.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.  

    This role is in our Major Projects and Strategic Clients team, our team is responsible for multi-disciplinary MEICA engineering design, off-site fabrication, construction services across the Group. 

    What will you be doing? 

    • Leading enterprise delivery operations - Provide strategic leadership to a large, multidisciplinary delivery organisation including c1,100 blue collar operatives, ensuring safe, high-performance execution across a complex project portfolio. 
    • Governing project delivery and risk - Set and enforce delivery, governance and risk standards, ensuring consistent deployment, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
    • Driving strategic workforce & capability - Define and deliver long-term resource, capability and succession plans that support large-scale, technically complex operations.
    • Owning P&L & commercial performance - Accountable for major revenue and EBITDA delivery, driving margin growth, commercial discipline, and long-term value creation to deliver c£150M turnover per year at 8.5% EBITDA.
    • Leading senior client & stakeholder engagement - Strengthen strategic client, partner and stakeholder relationships, enhancing market position and securing future opportunities.
    • Building supply chain resilience & innovation - Develop a robust supply chain and accelerate innovation through digital adoption, MMC/offsite solutions and transformative delivery models.

    What you’ll bring 

    • Proven leadership of large-scale delivery operations and complex MEICA projects within highly regulated, multi-stakeholder environments.  
    • Strong P&L ownership with a record of delivering significant turnover, EBITDA, margin improvement and commercial value. 
    • Recognised technical and operational leadership with the ability to set standards, govern complex portfolios and drive safety, risk and performance excellence. 
    • Ability to translate organisational strategy into operational delivery, transformation, digitalisation and continuous improvement. 
    • Strong relationship builder influencing at executive and board level with clients, partners suppliers and internal stakeholders 
    • Experience leading and developing teams, creating high performance, safety focused and accountable cultures with strength in talent and succession management
