  • Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a  friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

    Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

Want to be a part of it?

    What will you be doing?

You'll submit all required Streetworks permits for projects, including opening and closing notices, within mandated timeframes and monitor each permit closely for status changes, modifications, comments, revokes etc, and take necessary actions.

You'll ensure all relevant application forms and consents are complete and populated correctly in a timely manner (Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders, Parking Bay Suspensions, etc.)

You'll gather required documentation, such as photos, from the project team to support any potential disputes between client/ HA.

We'll need you to communicate with local authorities, addressing any requirements they may have and take proactive action when notices are at risk, liaising with local authorities where appropriate to agree on extensions or alternative measures.

You'll communicate any additional costs, such as FPNs, defects, and S74s, with the project team and commercial team.

You'll attend regular meetings with the project team to provide updates on any Streetworks related issues.

    What you’ll bring

    • Are you someone who can stay calm and rational in a stressful environment?
    • Do you hold a Valid UK driving license?
    •  Do you have an understanding of NRSWA 1991, TMA 2004 and associated Codes of Practice? This is desirable.
Due to the nature of the role effective communication skills (verbal and written) along with great time management and attention to detail are key to carrying out this role.
