    Where will you be working?

    As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

    This role is in our Technology department, our IT teams design, manage and optimise IT systems to support the smooth and secure operations of our Group.

    What will you be doing?

    Your deep understanding of systems, processes, integrations, and interfaces will be key in shaping thoughtful solutions alongside our project team.

    Within our IT Governance framework, you’ll confidently handle vendor relationships and change requests with care and precision. You’re someone who loves keeping everything on track, maintaining clear oversight of schedules, risks, actions, and dependencies using KeyedIn to make sure no detail slips through the cracks.

    Taking the reins on project and communication plans will be second nature to you—you’ll ensure they’re crystal clear so our IT projects flow smoothly from start to finish.

    Keeping our stakeholders informed will be a priority too. You’ll take ownership of weekly project highlight reports that help everyone stay aligned and up to speed. Collaboration will be your forte, working closely with colleagues across the board to coordinate and schedule activities that set us up for success.

    Budget management will fall within your remit as well, and you’ll approach it with accountability and transparency, providing regular updates we can rely on. You'll also have a sharp eye for spotting risks, communicating them effectively, and integrating them into our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans when needed.

    And when timelines start looking uncertain, you’ll be the steady hand that escalates concerns early—because we know that with the right heads-up, we can turn challenges into opportunities.

    What you’ll bring

    • A deep understanding of Prospect to Cash processes and business lifecycle
    • Experience of implementing contact centre solutions
    • Must have implementation expertise of multiple vendors in different parts of the lifecycle such as multi-tier Pricing, customer satisfaction tools, Loyalty program tools, emailing campaign editor tools
    • Extensive experience delivering IT business system (CRM on ERP) projects.
    • Comprehensive experience working with technologies, such as, Salesforce, IFS and Microsoft Dynamics.
    • Provision of reporting and metrics which demonstrate effective governance and control which meet customer/business requirements.
    • Experience of managing complex and senior stakeholder interactions
    • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels.
    • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.
