    At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.  

    We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.  

    Mobile networks- We keep the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.

    What will you be doing?

    As a passionate People Business Partner, you will drive the people strategy within their division, enabling leadership teams to prioritise the people agenda. You’ll champion initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, maximise productivity, and support the profitable growth of the division.

    You’ll build a culture of engagement, communication, and recognition, promoting belonging and shared purpose.

    Collaborate with Centres of Expertise (CoEs) – Talent Acquisition, Leadership, Learning & Talent, ER, Reward, and Shared Services – to:

    • Design and support divisional structures that meet short- and long-term objectives.
    • Ensure a stable, future-ready workforce aligned with strategic ambitions.
    • Provide leadership, insights, and execution for capability, cultural, and change initiatives.
    • Advocate for the People function and role model M Group values and behaviours.
    • You’ll help shape a division poised for success by contributing thought leadership, promoting a committed workforce, and driving meaningful cultural transformation.

    What you’ll bring (and other responsibilities)

    • You’ll provide strategic and BAU support driving the development and delivery of divisional people plans that support business goals and priorities.
    • You’ll understand our clients, competitors and external labour market. Use any insight to deliver recommendations to the division and wider group where appropriate.
    • We’ll need you to work with the Group Talent Acquisition team to create strategic workforce plans to deliver the required levels, quality and competency of resource in a timely manner to support the business plan.
    • You’ll be providing valuable input into our people initiatives along with supporting the creation and delivery of the annual divisional calendar of activities.
    • Support talent management and development planning for the division, enhancing the quality of leaders and managers. In conjunction with the Group L&D team identifying opportunities to build skills and capabilities of the workforce, supporting development plans for high potentials and ensuring succession bench strength.
    • You’ll be able to lead the people component of TUPE’s and M&A activity.
    • Using experience, skills, knowledge and collaboration, make an impact in key areas such as change, employee engagement and talent/data analytics.
    • You’ll use your insights to identify people opportunities, priorities and potential risks. Creating mitigation and optimisation plans, influencing leaders and colleagues to implement them. With a view to enhance the long-term success and reputation of the business.
    • We’ll need you to coach and develop the capability of leaders and managers to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues, utilising the resultant data to inform future people initiatives and policy.
    • Support the delivery of performance management and reward strategies to reinforce an environment of dedication and continuous improvement with and across business units.
    • Managing the relationship with the trade union to ensure effective employee relations.
