You’ll be joining our Highways team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
Take an active role in repairing and maintaining tools and signs, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Make safety your priority by taking reasonable care for your own health, safety, and welfare, as well as that of your colleagues, while adhering to all local and statutory Health & Safety procedures.
Be responsible for managing the depot stock system, setting up and maintaining stock lists, and ensuring stock levels are well-maintained.
Organise and oversee stock movement, booking materials in and out of the depot to keep everything organised.
Use your skills to operate equipment, including loading shovels and forklifts, to assist with the efficient loading and unloading of materials arriving at the depot.
Play a key role in managing plant hire and off-hire processes, as well as ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to gangs.
Be a dependable team member by participating in an out-of-hours emergency call-out system, supporting the Cambridgeshire Highways Services network when required.
Support vital operations by taking part in Winter maintenance activities, helping to ensure smooth and safe operations during challenging weather conditions.
Take responsibility for the security of the depot, managing tasks such as unlocking and locking the site as required.
What you’ll bring
- A Full UK Clean Driving Licence
