    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team.  We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

    What will you be doing? 
     
    As the Stores Supervisor you'll be part of our Smart Metering Team who are responsible for installation of smart meters across London and the Thames Valley areas.
     

    You'll ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations in stores and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

    We'll need you to maintain a healthy stock availability for the business demand and ensuring the yard never runs too low of any stock items. 

    You'll ensure regular stock takes of meters, materials, fittings, and plant. make sure  his/her reports share workload, co-ordinate holidays, and work as a coherent team.

    You'll liaise regularly with the Stores Manager on all matters and reporting any issues to in a timely manner and help support in improving the organization and location of items in the yard and aisles at the warehouse. 
     
    You'll report any issues to Procurement Manager in a timely manner and will be required to take delivery of goods with the use of Tele handler when required.
     

    What you’ll bring 

    • Do you have people management experience?
    • Are you able to build and maintain a team?
    • Do you have any stores and stock management experience?
    • Order wise or digital system stock experience (preferred)
    • Are you forklift and telehandler trained? This is desirable
    • Do you hold a full clean driving licence? This is essential for this role
    • Are you familiar with MS Excel, Microsoft 365 & MS Word experience? This is desirable.
