    BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

    What will you be doing?
     
    This role centres on leading infrastructure projects with care and precision—ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high standards.
     
    You’ll guide a multi-disciplinary team, manage commercial and technical aspects, and keep progress on track.
     
    From preparing estimates and reviewing tenders to overseeing subcontractors and design integration, your input will shape successful outcomes.
     
    You’ll foster strong client relationships, contribute to financial performance, and ensure compliance with CDM, SHE, and quality standards.

    What you'll bring:

    • Lead a skilled team to deliver project goals smoothly
    • Oversee commercial, technical, and quality aspects
    • Keep the project programme on track and moving
    • Handle contracts, claims, and time extensions with care
    • Review progress, manage costs, and spot risks early
    • Assess design quality to support accurate estimates
    • Ensure CDM, SHE, and quality standards are met
    • Guide design integration and join review meetings 
    • This role will require travel across the whole of the UK
    • Hold an electrical/electronic engineering qualification such as HNC, ONC, or City & Guilds
    • Have a Degree or equivalent in any related Engineering & Project Management qualification. 
    What would be desirable:
    • Championing health, safety & quality compliance
    • Navigating CDM regulations with confidence
    • Accredited in NEC4 project management
    • Skilled in Primavera P6 scheduling
    •  Guiding design through every project phase
    •  Managing temporary works safely & efficiently
    • Designing low voltage electrical systems
    • Assembling reliable low voltage switchgear
    • Working with high-voltage transmission gear
    • Supporting smooth, compliant project delivery
