    You’ll be joining our Civils projects - We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.

    What will you be doing?

    You'll supervise and manage construction works for the Projects team. Ensuring the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards are employed across all projects, adhering to company health and safety policy/ environmental policy and actively supporting the It Starts With Me culture that is an integral part of the M Group Highways' working environment.

    You'll allocate resource daily to ensure work activities are resourced sufficiently and by competent persons. Carry out Setting To Work of relevant operatives, working supervisors and sub-contractors. 

    Supervise the relevant operatives, working supervisors and sub-contractors allocated to their relevant service. This includes the implementation of required health, safety, wellbeing, environment and quality standards.

    What you’ll bring

    • Do you have a good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks, drainage, structures and highways?
    • Are you a good team worker and communicator?
    • Computer literate, with a basic understanding of Microsoft word / excel and outlook
    • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate with the Client and operational team
    • SSSTS / SMSTS and CSCS Card
