This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services and data collection in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our meter engineers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored. We leverage our industry expertise and data insight capabilities to create solutions that fit the needs of our customers.
What will you be doing?
As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of key projects and initiatives that shape the future of our metering operations. Reporting directly to the Head of Customer and Operations Centre, you’ll design and deliver programmes that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This is a hybrid role with a mixture of home working and office days in our HQ based in Newcastle Cobalt Park.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading programme and process design, refinement, and implementation
- Coordinating across Training, Back Office, Operations, Customer Engagement, and Logistics
- Developing and maintaining scale and resource plans to meet project demands
- Supporting pre-qualification, proposals, business cases, and tender submissions
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and driving work-winning efforts
- Acting as subject matter expert for all programme-related matters
- Monitoring and reporting progress against business plan targets
- Driving continuous improvement and ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and quality standards

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who’s:
- Experienced in project management, with strong skills across scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resources
- A confident communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively
- Skilled in problem-solving and negotiation, with a proactive approach to challenges
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment and coordinating multiple teams
- Competent in Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint
