    You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

    What will you be doing?

    You'll undertake highway condition safety inspections in accordance with, Peterborough City Council, Highway Maintenance Plan within monthly assigned period. Driven and walked Inspections.

    To identify and issue accurate works order to instruct effective defect repairs and carry out risk assessment of site and identify hazards.

    We'll ask you to monitor and work within individual budget allocation. Ensure all variations to work are agreed with operational teams and signed off. 

    Along with monitoring enquires and complaints from members of the public, Members and Senior officers on all Highway related matters.

    You'll provide reports and information regarding Third Party insurance claims.

    We may ask you to participate in Out of hours and Winter Duty Officer Duties.

    What you’ll bring

    • Experience within the Highways Maintenance industry 
    • CSCS, NRSWA and SSSTS
    • Full  UK Driving licence
    • Experience with products and materials used within Highway Maintenance. IT skills as all work issued electronically
    • Able to identify all hazards and risks associated with Highway works previous experience desirable
    • Good General IT skills are essential 
    • Ability to meet budget and deadline targets
    • Ability to manage various stakeholder relations with client members, local government and interest groups
