Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and tech & comms.
This role is in our Group Assurance department; Group Assurance is made up of our risk management, business continuity and internal audit professionals. They provide independent insight, advice and assurance.

You’ll be responsible for managing delivery of the Internal Audit plan, leading Internal Audit teams, building strong stakeholder relationships, and producing Board level Committee materials.
You’ll provide ongoing oversight and challenge to lead auditors and audit teams, to ensure audits are completed to the required quality standards and timeframes.
You're making sure every audit is completed to the highest standards, within the required timeframe. Evaluating controls thoughtfully to bring valuable insights, themes, and areas of exposure to light for management.
You'll review reports to ensure they are impactful, concise and of a high standard.
You’ll review and challenge the key risks identified and scopes of internal audits, to ensure they are clearly defined, appropriate and relevant.
You’ll build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring the business is kept informed of findings arising from audit work and to manage any issues encountered in audits.
You're playing a vital role in shaping the future of the Group Assurance function. Whether you're offering input into our strategy or staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the Internal Audit profession.

Experience in leading audits, including conducting risk assessments, setting objectives and scope, information gathering, testing and sampling methods.
