    Where will you be working?


    BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.
     
    For this particular role, we’re seeking an enthusiastic individual who is eager to begin and grow their career in procurement.

    What will you be doing?

    You will be raising purchase orders in the ERP system, making sure they follow the Preferred Supplier List and agreed service levels.

    You will work with stakeholders to encourage PSL use and share feedback with PSL owners.

    You will prepare, issue, receive, and evaluate quotations to deliver best value, translating requirements into proposals with approved templates.

    You will receipt goods in the ERP system, respond to queries promptly, and manage supplier questionnaires from start to finish.

    You will monitor orders, lead smaller negotiations, support larger ones, and spot opportunities to save costs and strengthen supplier relationships.

     What you'll bring:
    Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities, with a practical approach to tackling challenges.
    Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently across teams.
    Proven relationship management skills, capable of building and maintaining positive stakeholder connections.
    Flexibility to work independently with initiative, while also thriving as a collaborative team member.
