This 12‑month maternity cover fixed‑term contract will see you supporting our Resourcing Manager as you help deliver the administrative backbone of our field resourcing, reporting, supplier coordination and training activity. You’ll facilitate and monitor training bookings, and you’ll build strong relationships with our internal and external trainers and assessors so we can maintain great service levels. You’ll coordinate onboarding and inductions, liaise with resourcing managers and suppliers, and work with our teams to keep personnel records up to date — including starters, leavers and expiring certifications. You’ll also take responsibility for administering engineer certifications and access cards, ensuring all training records are accurate and compliant.
You’ll help us make the best use of our training facilities, validate compliance with awarding bodies such as Smart Awards, NPORS and CPCS, raise purchase orders, and prepare simple reports to support the department. You’ll maintain and improve our processes, as well as support with general administrative tasks when needed.
This is a hybrid role where you’ll spend at least one day a week in our St Ives, Cambridgeshire office, with the rest of your time working from home or office. You’ll be part of a supportive team but will also need to work independently and manage your own workload confidently. Whether you’re an experienced administrator or someone keen to build a career in this area, we’ll give you the support you need — all you’ll need is strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
What you’ll bring?

You’ll be highly organised, work to consistently high standards and have excellent attention to detail. You’ll communicate clearly, professionally and courteously at all times, and you’ll be comfortable dealing with customers and stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be eager to learn and develop, able to multitask, prioritise your workload effectively and bring a positive, proactive approach to everything you do. You’ll also have strong interpersonal skills, working well as part of a team while remaining confident and self‑sufficient when working remotely.
