Join a Landmark Energy Project Shaping the UK's Future
Be part of a pioneering initiative to generate reliable, low-carbon electricity and play a vital role in meeting the UK’s climate change commitments and energy security goals. Located on the scenic north Somerset coast, this is the first nuclear power station built in a generation, featuring the advanced EPR reactor design also used for Sizewell C.
With the capacity to power six million homes for the next 60 years—around 7% of the UK’s total energy needs—this project is a cornerstone of the nation’s sustainable energy strategy. Since construction began in 2018, progress has been significant, with major structures such as reactor buildings and domes now in place and core component installation underway.
