    Where will you be working?

    At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

    We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

    Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

    We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to support the effective management of our commercial vehicle fleet. Contractually, you’ll be based at your local M Group Ltd office, with occasional travel to our St Ives (Cambridgeshire) office for team meetings and collaboration.

     

    What will you be doing?

    In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our fleet, including onboarding new drivers and processing leavers, ordering short-term hire vehicles , and coordinating the allocation of all commercial vehicles. You’ll keep the fleet database accurate and up to date, provide administrative support to drivers, and manage fuel cards, tolls and driver fines. You’ll work closely with drivers and MGSPFS to schedule repairs, servicing and MOTs, ensuring all reporting is accurate and timely, and that drivers receive relevant safety bulletins and training where required. You’ll manage telematics systems and driver apps, liaise with line managers to ensure incidents are processed correctly, and produce regular driver safety reports. You’ll also assess vehicles during the de-hire process, accurately recording and photographing any damage, allocate vehicles to the workshop for servicing, maintenance and hire preparation, and carry out regular audits to ensure system records remain accurate. Using systems such as Samsara, you’ll monitor driver behaviour and highlight any coaching requirements to help keep our drivers safe on the road.

     

    What you’ll bring? 

    Previous experience in fleet management and maintenance of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), with a strong understanding of vehicle types and relevant legislation

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships

    You’ll bring an energetic, proactive approach and a strong “can-do” attitude

    High attention to detail and accuracy, which we’ll rely on to keep fleet data and records accurate

    Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

    You’ll be adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment, and we’ll support you as processes and systems evolve

    A problem-solving mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service, which we’ll value as you support drivers and line managers
