  • Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

    Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.   We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

Based at our Bury St Edmunds (Higham) office in Suffolk, you’ll be joining Aran, part of M Group Energy — an industry-leading provider of retrofit and energy efficiency solutions. With a strong reputation for quality and delivery, Aran is focused on raising standards across installation projects while improving the comfort, cost of living and sustainability of UK homes.

    What will you be doing?

As a Technical Quality Manager, you’ll take ownership of technical quality, compliance and audit performance across retrofit installation works.

This is a leadership role where you’ll influence how quality is delivered across the business — working closely with operational, technical and supply chain teams to ensure work is completed right first time and in line with industry standards.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Leading compliance with PAS 2030, PAS 2035 and TrustMark requirements
    • Overseeing internal quality audits, inspections and assurance processes
    • Analysing audit outcomes and identifying trends, risks and improvements
    • Driving corrective actions and embedding continuous improvement initiatives
    • Managing accreditations, certifications and external audit readiness
    • Providing technical support and guidance to operational teams and partners
    • Monitoring installation performance and improving quality outcomes
    • Supporting client audits, technical queries and compliance requirements

You’ll be central to ensuring high standards are maintained across all projects — helping the business deliver safely, compliantly and consistently.

    What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset:

    • Strong experience in retrofit, insulation or construction quality management
    • In-depth knowledge of PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 frameworks
    • Experience in technical compliance, audits or quality assurance
    • Ability to interpret and apply technical standards in operational settings
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels
    • Passion for quality, compliance and continuous improvement

Relevant health & safety or construction qualifications would be beneficial, but your experience in leading quality and driving standards is what really matters.

    What’s in it for you?
We offer a range of benefits to support you both in and out of work, including:
    • Company pension
    • Sick pay
    • Employee assistance programme (Bupa)
    • Company events, including an annual Christmas party
    • Christmas shutdown period
    • Casual dress
    • Free parking and on-site parking
    • Referral programme
    • Bereavement leave
    • And yes… Free Sandwich Friday
